Hi! Welcome to my virtual office. I'm Giselle, certified career coach, former recruiter, and resume writer.

While working as a recruiter, I learned about the struggles candidates go through when searching and applying for jobs. I remember that what I found very concerning were the hurdles associated with online applications and the frustration of never hearing back from companies; even I faced these issues when applying for jobs, so I realized that this horrible silence was a real issue. 

Unfortunately, this is not only real but also very common for many reasons, including formatting that is not compatible with  ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), lack of relevant keywords, and misplacement of content where bots can't find the information they need in order to rank resumes as strong matches, just to name a few. 

At one point, I realized that having seen the flip side of the coin gave me a significant edge over other excellent resume writers who didn't have experience in recruiting and hadn't been "on the other side," so I established and developed my own consulting business where I've been providing career coaching specialized in interview coaching and resume writing services with excellent results. 

Fast forward to 2020 when the pandemic hit, in light of all the massive layoffs, I felt the need to assist the community and respond to the urgent demand for resume help from a place of service. I started focusing exclusively on resume and LinkedIn services, and provided free advice every time I had a chance, which contributed to shaping me as a professional, and led me to where I am today. 

I know exactly what fellow recruiters and hiring managers want to see in resumes and how they search for talent, so I can confidently say I know how to write a resume and make it stand out.   

I take pride in offering boutique-style resume writing and LinkedIn profile optimization services, and my top priority is to help my clients succeed in their job search rather than make a sale.
