Hi! Welcome to my virtual office. I'm Giselle, certified career coach, former recruiter, and resume writer.

While working as a recruiter, I gained firsthand insight into the challenges candidates face when searching for and applying to jobs, in particular, the frustration of never hearing back from companies;  I even faced these issues myself when I was applying for jobs, so I realized that this horrible silence was a real issue and I had to find a solution. 

Unfortunately, this is not only a real issue but also a common one, caused by factors like incompatible formatting, missing relevant keywords, and poorly structured content that prevents ATS from properly assessing a candidate's suitability for the role just to name a few.

At one point, I realized that having seen both sides of the coin gave me a significant edge over other talented resume writers who lacked recruiting experience and hadn’t been "on the other side." This insight led me to establish my own consulting business, where I offered career coaching, interview preparation, and resume writing services, consistently delivering excellent results.

Fast forward to 2020 when the pandemic hit, in light of all the massive layoffs, I felt compelled to support the community by responding to the urgent demand for resume assistance.  I focused my efforts on providing resume writing and LinkedIn services, offering free advice whenever I could. This not only helped shape my professional journey but led me to where I am today. 

With my experience as a recruiter, I have a clear understanding of what hiring managers and recruiters look for in resumes and how they search for talent. This gives me the confidence to create resumes that truly stand out, and also learned the tricks to get your resume in front of the right eyes.
